I see that this is a common problem in many organizations. People understand the game, it doesn’t take them in. In return people manipulate them to get what they want – otherwise no one would bother about them. Here, leaders and/or managers put many constraints.
For example, if you have equipment which breaks down, it’s impossible to get it repaired – they are short of engineering staff at the workshop, it is also impossible to get new equipment, or making an analysis that can be critical for product quality and approval because of budgetary constraints.
Of course, all of these contribute to the erosion of integrity within organizations such as loss of customer confidence, low staff morale, high turnover, disengagement, low productivity and poor performance of the organization.
Look at the mission statement of the company, “Our most important assets are our people. Their motivation, development, well-being and effective deployment is fundamental to our future success and creating a high performing organization”. These are wonderful words. I know that in reality, no one is aware any specific action to implement these pious words written by the CEO or top management.
If people are an organization’s most important asset, where is the evidence of practice? All I encountered was low morale and dissatisfaction when I detected in organizations. Clearly, they neglect training, make low pay and have poor retention rates and face an erosion of customer confidence.
We are entering into the industry 4.0 period. Some nations and companies are developing and implementing a long-term competitive marketing and innovation strategy. They hire top talents, work with the great leaders and people, produce high technology, produce more, increase productivity, decrease the cost, develop new products and commercialize them, increase the quality, enter to the global markets, make mergers and acquisitions and increase the market share.
Therefore, I have to define that leaders and managers, they have to ensure that their words are consistent with their actions. They have to focus on a competitive marketing and innovation strategy, improve organizational integrity, train and develop their people and create a culture of candor within their organizations.
I have investment projects in Chocolates, Healthy Recipes, Nutraceuticals (against pneumothorax) and Cosmeceuticals. I am looking for investors in Turkey and GCC Region.
