Business success can never be achieved through a process of bureaucracy. The more forms, procedures, manuals, policies, reports and departmental notices will be exercised the more frustrating the task of management and limit the freedom of contribution.
This is a problem in companies. They don’t give a freer hand.
To succeed people need to feel excited, need to feel good and need to be recognized. They need a unique positive emotion from their leaders.
To succeed people need inspiration!
I know that short-term success can be achieved by logic and analysis. But this is not efficient to achieve a long-term success. A long-term success can only be achieved by inspirational leaders who excite their people with major challenges that benefit the growth, profitability, people and business.
Inspiration can only be given by truly effective leaders. It requires intensive experience, knowledge and skills in the business operations and high level emotional intelligence.
Do you inject positive emotion?
Great leaders inject positive emotion into their business objective and articulate it in clear simple terms. They stimulate them through giving emotional, spiritual, intellectual and physical energy. This contributes greater levels of performance and success in the business activities.
Are you an administrator and controller?
If you don’t have inspiration, you will become an administrator and/or controller. So that people turn off and company can face with increasing disengagement, high turnover, lower productivity and customer loyalty.
Do you see inspiration as a threat?
Without inspiration leaders drift into a lament of disinterest and they establish their own power and status. They fear, excitement, passion, stimulation, invigoration, inspiration and recognition. They don’t create a candor effect within the organization. They see such emotion as a threat.
Do you have organizational constraints?
I know that organizational constraints exist everywhere. In fact an organization without constraint would be an organization verging on chaos. The weak leaders hide behind these constraints and blame them. They use them as an excuse for non-achievement and low performance.
Do you make things happen whatever the level of constraints?
Great leaders make things happen whatever the level of constraints. So that their people achieve what others consider impossible. Their energy, their commitment, their dedication and their belief become infectious to the whole organization to endorse their company objective and their way.
Do you exceed the limits?
I believe that inspiration comes from a genuine belief that you can succeed despite all the alleged limitations. Great leaders have an authentic structure and innovative capability to exceed such limitations. They are excellent researchers, learners, creators, performers and improvers. They believe that the life is full opportunity.
I always believe that inspiration is a process of shedding these constraints and discovering the energy to seize and realize opportunities to create more and more transient competitive advantages in an organization. So that you can achieve a high performance business with high growth, profitability and customer loyalty in a competitive manner.
Finally, companies have to improve their HR capability to find the best and work with the truly effective inspirational leaders. Otherwise, they can fail in the long-term. They have to rise above all those dreary frustrating mechanisms of management if they want to compete with others.
